General information
Some hotels are not displayed for the days I selected.
The system shows only the available hotels for the days you selected.

My plane lands in Cagliari or Alghero. Is the car available from those airports?
Yes. Car rental offices are located in all Sardinian airports.

Where do I withdraw the car?
You can pick-up/drop-off the car in Olbia, Cagliari or Alghero airports.

What is the name of the car rental company?
The name of the car rental is indicated on the car voucher. You will receive the car voucher (together with the hotel voucher) by e-mail at last 2 days before departure.

I need to drop off the car to a different airport.
It is possible to pick up and drop off the car to different airports. An extra cost will be paid on the spot (please check General Terms and Conditions for further details).
I travel with a baby (baby-seat and cradle).
To get the baby-seat you must claearly request it on the field NOTES during the reservation. The additional cost will be paid on arrival. The cradle is automatically assigned when you tick the relevant box (infant) during the booking process. The relative cost is included on the reservation (please check General Terms and Conditions for further details).

Is the flight included in the price?
Sardinia Open Voucher does NOT include the flight. The package includes only overnight stay with breakfast at the hotel and rental car.

I would like to book 3 roms
The system allows you to book up to three rooms per reservation.

I would like to book more than 3 rooms.
To book more than three rooms you shall book two or more Packages. Please note that each request must be submitted by entering the name of the driver.

I travel alone. Can I book Sardinia Open Voucher?
The minimum number of participants is two. However, you can book the Sardinia Open Voucher by paying two quotes.

Is breakfast included in the price?
Yes

I would like to book half board treatment.
Open voucher package includes the overnight stay with breakfast and the car. All meals, tips, drinks, and any other extra which are not mentioned in the voucher, can be agreed and paied on arrival.
I would like to pay by bank transfer.
Payment by bank transfer is allowed only if, between the payment date and the starting date, occur at least 15 days. The booking is confirmed only if Portale Sardegna receives the payment details (bank receipt) by e-mail or fax. Please note that hotels availability is guaranteed until your 48 hours option expires.

I do not have a credit card.
The reservation holder, who corresponds to the driver, must necessarily be in possession of a credit card (Visa or Mastercard). A valid credit card will be asked at the Car Rental office as guarantee. American Express, cheque or cash are not accepted.

The 48 hours option on my Open Voucher itinerary has expired, can I still pay?
NO. All the requests which have not been confirmed are automatically erased. If the 48 hours option expired you shall submit a new request.

Information on the car

Which car category is included in the basic package?
The category of car varies depending on the number of adults (older than 13 years old). For further details about car category please check the relative tab on the General Terms and Conditions.

I wish to get a higher category car
A different car category can be selected as an extra during the booking process (for further details please check the relative tab on General Terms and Conditions). Alternatively, it can be agreed with the car rental on the spot.

The reservation is under my name, but I am not the driver.
The reservation holder and driver must be the same person. Please note that the driver must be in possession of a credit card (Visa or Mastercard). A valid credit card is required as guarantee. American Express, cheque or cash are not accepted.

Is the mileage allowance unlimited?

I would like to get an extra insurance.
The total coverage for fire or accidents and damage can be agreed with the car rental company at the car rental office, upon the payment of a supplement (see the General Information for any further information)

After the reservation

I would like to change/cancel the package
Changes to Open Voucher package, as well as cancellations, can be only be agreed
with Portale Sardegna and depend on the hotels availability. Any change/cancellation is subject to
payment of change or cancellation penalties and a booking fee. Changes and relative booking fees must be paid by credit card at the reservation moment. For further details please check the General Terms and Conditions

I would like to add an additional driver.
Notice about additional driver/s must be agreed at the car rental office (against payment).

How and when do I receive the vouchers?
You will receive the car voucher, together with the hotel voucher, by e-mail at last 2 days before departure. Please remember that our operator will not be able to send your vouchers until you communicate your flight details to Portale Sardegna.

I have not received the voucher yet.
If you haven't received the vouchers within that deadline, please contact Portale Sardegna.

I would like add a person to my booking.
Once the package is confirmed, it is not possible to add any additional participant. Please submit a brand new request.
